My Easy Homemade Mashed Potatoes 🥔 Ingredients: • 8 lbs potatoes (or as many as you need) • 1 ½ sticks butter • Salt, to taste • Milk (add a little at a time for desired consistency) Instructions: 1. Peel the potatoes. Pro tip: Peel them over a grocery bag for easy cleanup! 2. Wash the potatoes 3. Dice the potatoes into chunks and add them to a large pot. 4. Cover with water and add salt and ½ stick of butter to the pot. 5. Bring to a boil and cook until the potatoes are fork-tender. (Time will vary.) 6. Drain most of the water 7. Add 1 stick of butter to the potatoes. 8. Pour in milk a little at a time—remember, you can always add more, but you can’t take it away! 9. Mix it up using a hand mixer until smooth. Add more milk if needed. 10. Taste test! If it needs more salt, add a little and mix again. 11. Serve hot and enjoy! Y’all hungry?
